These are hard times, there is no denying.
Our world is suffering with a great threat and difficulties comes along with it for the seafarers as well.
But we, as Miklagard S, say this to our team, even the circumstances getting harder every day, we will continue to trade and provide the best effort for them.
In the shade of COVID-19 breakout, our company has pushed the limits and proudly able to perform an important crew change even in the global lockdown. With the beginning of June, Miklagard S has achieved to fly the team to Port of Gibraltar by a private charter plane.

“Being away from their families especially during the pandemic is the hardest suffer for the seafarers. Definitely, we should learn to live in that new normal. Our aim to improve and keep our crew safe has led us to an unusual way. Even a private crew change was not even heard in Turkish shipping industry we have took our chance and succeeded to send our team to the vessel.
We should also share our best regards to “Directorate General of Civil Aviation” and the ministry authorities who supported the Turkish seafarers’ rights and giving us the chance to fly the jet in that lockdown process.”
