Miklagard S Ship Management SA, headquartered in Istanbul - Turkey, specializes in technical and crew management for chemical and product tankers on a global scale. Founded in 2019 by RFOcean's Mr. Frederik Rye-Florentz and Mr. Tayfun Bozoglu in collaboration with Sener Ship Management's extensive 25-year legacy in chemical tanker management.
Under the leadership of Mr. Tayfun Bozoglu, the team comprises fifteen seasoned professionals, including former Masters, Chief Engineers and Naval Architects, each with over 35 years of experience in the maritime industry. With a strong track record of ship management and ownership, the team has orchestrated time-charters for giants like Total, BP, and Shell.
The team also brings a wealth of expertise in ship construction, having overseen various chemical/oil tanker builds ranging from 3,500 to 20,000 DWT stainless steel and coated vessels. The company's holistic approach covers ship design, construction supervision, and operational insight gained through extensive experience during newbuilding processes.
Currently, Miklagard S expertly manages a fleet of six chemical/oil tankers, predominantly engaged in trade across Europe, Canada, and the US. Notable collaborations include Exxon, Shell, Total, BP, Repsol, CEPSA, and Suncor Energy. The company's proven dedication to quality, safety, and dynamic partnerships sets it apart in the maritime arena.
